Every product has one fixed price from us that covers the blank, the decoration, packing and handling. Whatever you charge above that is yours.

Example at our suggested price. You can charge more, or a little less. The 30¢ is charged once per order, so baskets with several items earn slightly more. Shipping is paid by the buyer.

Anyone can upload a logo to a print site in five minutes and get a thin tee. We sit down with your artwork, choose the pieces and patch styles that suit it, and check every mockup before it goes live. Premium product takes a little longer to set up. It also sells for more.

How is this different from a print-on-demand site?
Print-on-demand sites let anyone upload a logo onto a basic tee in minutes. MerchStands is a premium line: retail-grade hats with embroidery or real leather, cork, woven and rubber patches, heavyweight fleece and quality tees, all finished in our own shop. We build your range with you instead of handing you a template, and the products sell at prices that make each sale worthwhile.
What does it cost to start?
Registered charities pay nothing to set up. Businesses pay a one-time $199 setup fee, which covers building your mockups with our team, preparing your artwork for production, and building your page. After that there are no monthly fees.
Do I have to buy any stock?
No. Nothing is made until someone orders it, so you never pay for merch that does not sell. If you want stock for your own shelves or an event, you can order it through your stand at your partner price.
How do I get paid?
You earn the difference between your selling price and our fixed price for the product, less a payment and platform fee of 2.9% plus 30 cents per order. We pay once a month: sales from one month are paid by the 10th of the next, with a statement listing every order. Balances under $100 roll forward to the following month.
Who sets the prices?
You do. We give you a suggested price for every product and a minimum. Anything above our price is yours.
Who designs the products?
We do it together. Send us your logo and tell us what you have in mind. Our team builds the mockups, you approve them, and only then does your stand go live.
Do you provide photos we can use to promote it?
Yes. Along with the product images on your stand, we provide lifestyle photos of people wearing your pieces. Use them on your stand, your social channels, your newsletter and in your venue.
How long does an order take?
Most orders ship in about 5 business days, because each piece is made when it is ordered. Orders are decorated, packed and shipped from our shop in Vancouver, B.C., and buyers get a tracking number by email. Prices are in Canadian dollars.
What about returns?
Every item is made to order, so MerchStands does not take returns. Partners with a physical location can handle exchanges there. If we make a mistake or something arrives damaged, we fix it at our cost.
Will other organisations show up on my page?
Never. Your stand shows only your products, under your logo, and it does not link to anyone else.
